Albie Morkel has been named the Titans captain in the limited-overs formats for the 2015-16 season, while Henry Davids will continue to lead in the four-day competition.Morkel made his international debut and has since represented South Africa in 108 matches. He is the second-most experienced player in T20 matches, having played 271 games. He scored a career-best 134* in the final of last season’s one-day competition, carrying Titans to the title against Cape Cobras.Rob Walter, the Titans coach, said that he believed in dual-captaincy for the next season. “We believe Albie will lead from the front. He has grown significantly as a leader over the last couple of seasons and he has now become driven to leave a legacy for the young Titans players. I have no doubt that together Henry and Albie will provide the leadership required to grow the Titans culture.”Theunis de Bruyn, who made his debut in 2014, was named as vice-captain for all three formats. He has scored 1364 runs in 16 matches at an average of 52.46, which includes an unbeaten double-century against England Lions. “Theunis has displayed leadership characteristics from the outset and one of our responsibilities as management of the team is to provide the best platform for successful leadership in the future,” Walter said.
