Fans wanting to attend Villa’s final game of the season against Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea side on May 23 will have had to be a 2019/20 season ticket holder.
The club confirmed that those eligible would need to register into a ballot process, with up to 10,000 fans set to return to Villa Park in a matter of weeks.
Villa’s last game on home soil with fans in attendance came against Tottenham back in February 2020, with Dean Smith’s side suffering late heartbreak that afternoon.

It’s not long until supporters will be back in attendance, though, and plenty of fans made their feelings known following the club’s official Twitter post.
