da bet esporte: It’s no secret that Chelsea have spent huge sums over the last couple of years, with BlueCo at the heart of a huge overhaul of various squads at Stamford Bridge.
da casino: Since their arrival in May 2022, over £1.5b has been spent on immediate first-team options, whilst also keeping one eye on the future by investing in promising teenage talent.
However, such a method has yet to bring success back to West London, with the club still yet to challenge for the Premier League title despite various managers trying their luck.
The Blues did claim Europa Conference League glory last season, whilst coming out on top in the FIFA Club World Cup, subsequently showing glimpses of the quality they possess.
Liam Rosenior has been tasked with providing consistent results, which could lead the club to a title challenge, but it’s become apparent he wants added reinforcements to aid any quest.
Chelsea battling Premier League giants in move for £130m star
Over recent days, it’s been reported that Chelsea are one of the sides ramping up a pursuit to try and land the signature of Rennes centre-back Jeremy Jacquet before the end of the window.
The Blues have been targeting reinforcements in the defensive department for months on end, but a deal for the Frenchman could finally bring an end to such a pursuit.
There’s also been rumours over a £60m deal for the 20-year-old this winter, with the potential for the youngster to return to the Ligue 1 side on loan until the end of the campaign.
However, other areas of the pitch could also be strengthened this January, with Real Madrid star Vinícius Júnior just one player being considered in the attacking department.
According to one Spanish outlet, the Blues are keen on a deal to land the Brazilian left winger, who has already managed to net 15 combined goals and assists in all competitions this season.
The report states that the LaLiga side may have to cash in on his services in the near future, with no new deal set to be agreed between the two parties any time soon.
It also confirms the Blues are battling divisional rival Manchester City for his signature this month, with Pep Guardiola’s side currently leading the race for the 25-year-old, who could cost a club-record £130m.
Why Vini Jr would be a huge upgrade on Garnacho
In recent months, Chelsea have spent big on a new left-winger, as seen by the £40m transfer to land Alejandro Garnacho from fellow Premier League side Manchester United.
The Argentine arrived at the Bridge with very few fans happy with the transfer, but it’s safe to say he’s made an immediate impact after the big-money transfer.
He’s already racked up a total of six goals in his 23 appearances in West London, even netting a double against Arsenal in the recent Carabao Cup semi-final first leg.
However, the 21-year-old still could find himself further down the pecking order in the months ahead, especially if the hierarchy are able to secure a move for Vinicius.
Any move for the Brazilian would be the latest stammer of intent from the board, that’s despite numerous protests from fans about their ownership in recent weeks.
The Brazilian would cost a club-record if he were to move to the Premier League, but it could be a phenomenal piece of business regardless of the rumoured price tag.
When comparing his stats to those of Garnacho in 2025/26, it’s evident that he would be a phenomenal upgrade and one that could take the first-team to the next level.
Vinicius, who’s been labelled “world-class” by Kylian Mbappé, has registered more combined goals and assists this season, whilst also achieving a higher shot on target accuracy rate.

Such numbers demonstrate the edge he possesses within the final third, which could hand Rosenior with the added quality he craves in front of goal after taking the reins.

He’s also created more chances and completed more dribbles per 90, subsequently having the tools to get past the opposition with ease when needed with the ball at his feet.
When combining all of the aforementioned stats, the Brazilian has showcased his talent of getting past the opposition before firing home or teeing up a teammate.

£130m would be a massive investment from the board, but it’s one that could help the side turn dem European contenders to title challengers in the months ahead.
He would no doubt provide an upgrade on the players currently at the manager’s disposal, but it remains to be seen if they can trump City in the race to land his signature.
